Our Story
It started with a sound I wasn't looking for.
I was traveling through Yunnan when I heard it — a string of seed pods swaying gently in the breeze, clicking against each other with a sound so soft, so unexpectedly alive, that I stopped walking. Just stood there and listened. In that moment, everything inside me went quiet. The rush, the noise, the constant hum of daily life — all of it settled.
That was the first time I understood: nature already has the most healing sounds. We don't need to create them. We just need to bring them closer.
Calm&Lucky was born from that listening.
The name says it all. "Calm" — the quiet that settles when you stop rushing and start hearing. "Lucky" — the fortune of finding something so simple, yet so deeply resonant, in a world that never stops shouting.

From Forest to Hand
Every seed chime begins its journey in the rainforests of Southeast Asia and the mountains of Yunnan.
We only collect seeds that have fallen naturally. No living plants are cut. No forests are disturbed. The pods we use have already completed their life cycle on the tree — we simply gather what the earth offers.
From there, each seed is:
· Naturally air-dried for 7-15 days (extended to 20-30 days in humid climates, or with dehumidifier assistance) to develop its full tonal character
· Hand-cleaned and sorted by ear — we listen to every seed before it enters production
· Matched and assembled into chimes by artisan hands in our Yunnan workshop
· Tested one final time before it leaves us
No two seed chimes sound exactly alike. That's not a flaw — it's the point. You're not buying a product. You're bringing home a voice that belongs only to you.
