Each brooch is woven by hand from thin natural bamboo strips with the traditional Chinese-knot technique, shaped into cicadas, butterflies, petals, ripples, lucky knots and goldfish knots, then finished to a smooth, lightweight form. Pin one to a coat, cardigan, qipao, shawl, lapel or bag for a refined oriental accent — each knot carries a little wish for luck and renewal.
